Forgotten Films: 1984-a-Thon

We are proud to announce that we will be joining FORGOTTEN FILMS in their hosting of The 1984-a-Thon, a 30 year anniversary celebration the films of 1984 taking place August 25th-31st. Michelle and I have recently been exploring the acclaimed resume of Japanese master animator Hayao Miyazaki, and with many of the obvious films (Amadeus, The Terminator, Ghost Busters, etc) already claimed by other websites, when we saw that Mayizaki’s 1984 epic fantasy, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind was still available, we decided this would be the review we’d contribute to Forgotten Films’ latest Blog-a-thon. Being a relatively new site, we’re excited to have the opportunity to get our name included with an impressive list of fellow movie writers. We will be sure to share our eventual review here as well.
